Circulation:

Library Circulation Specialist

Assist library visitors at the Circulation desk and maintain library collections.

Level of contact with people: High

  • Direct and assist in Circulation procedures
  • Answer and direct library phone calls
  • Assist in training new student employees
  • Organize and shelve library materials
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service to library visitors

  • Track and monitor item requests
  • Investigate and resolve request errors

  • Maintain the appearance and organization of library materials on the shelf
  • Assist with library events in the Ink Spot
  • Assist with Collection Development projects, as needed.

  • Assist with research that may be needed by supervisor or others
