How do I find a scholarly, academic or peer-reviewed journal article?

Answer

Start at the Library homepage and use Search@UW.  Type in search terms/keywords and narrow results by clicking on "Peer-reviewed" on the left-hand side.  You may also directly search library databases like EBSCO, SpringerLink, ProQuest, Wiley Online Library, ScienceDirect, or JSTOR. Limit to "peer-reviewed" when possible. Click here to access the full list of library databases.
