How do I find a scholarly, academic or peer-reviewed journal article?

Answer

Start at the Library homepage and use Search@UW.  Type in search terms/keywords and narrow results by clicking on "Peer-reviewed" on the left-hand side.  You may also search library databases directly like EBSCO, SpringerLink, ProQuest, Wiley Online Library, ScienceDirect Freedom Collection, Project Muse, JSTOR, Academic OneFile (GALE).  Limit to "peer-reviewed" when possible.  To access library databases click "Find Databases" on the library homepage or visit: http://library.uwstout.edu/az.php
