Can I film in the library?

Answer

Yes, you can film in public spaces of the library. Points of guidance:

1. Your activity should not disturb others in the area who are studying.

2. Film in such a way as to not capture faces of others not intended to be in your film. The campus has guidance on privacy which you should review: https://www.uwstout.edu/university-wisconsin-stout-privacy-statement.

3. Do not leave video equipment unattended in the library. If you want to make a time lapse video or other long-term video project, you must contact the building supervisor, Sue Lindahl, in advance.

4. Please do not film on the 5th floor, since that is our designated Quiet Floor.
